I'm working on pulling together my Finish Along Q2 list, but in the meantime thought I would share this brand new quilt top with you.
I cut the drunkard's path blocks a very long time ago using my friend's Accuquilt (no way could I be bothered to cut all those curves by hand). Over the long Easter weekend, I stitched them together to make this quilt top.
This quilt really came out of my desire to conquer curves, and the need to use navy and green together in a quilt after seeing Anne's lovely Modified Urban Lattice quilt. Despite the curves, it was super speedy to put together and I'm really happy with the result. I even whipped up a backing so perhaps I will find some time this weekend to baste it.

So pretty! The colors and fabrics you chose are gorgeous. I purchased a bloc loc drunkard's path set at Quiltcon after seeing a quilt similar to yours at Stitch Lab in Austin. You're making me want to move that quilt higher on my to do list.
Very nice... look fresh and spring-y!
I'm pretty sure navy and curves are going to be the new hotness, so you are totally ahead of the trends with this one! :D
I know I commented on this somewhere else (instagram?) but I just had to comment again because I love it SOOOO MUCH. :D It's my favorite type of scrappy, where the shapes come in and out of focus and it is just a visual delight. :)
Really beautiful! Love the colours and dp blocks are one of my favourites!
I loved watching the quilt top come together on Instagram. And what a great color combination!
I love this quilt- blue and green look so fresh and amazing together. I need to learn about piecing curves. So many ideas - so many unfinished projects!
I absolutely LOVE blue and green together, always have, and two of my finishes in the first quarter, one of which was on my list for you, the other on ALYOF, were blue and green. Your quilt is beautiful, and cutting all those curves with the Accuquilt sounds like the bees' knees!
Love this color combo!!
Love your quilt. It almost makes me want to try curves!
I would love to make a quilt like this, but the thought of hand cutting all those curves puts me off too! I have been quilting my blue and green quilt this week! I love this colour combo too!
That's gorgeous! Drunkards path is on my to-do list... one day
That quilt certainly has plenty of curves to practice on! Looks like you have mastered them well as it is a really nice quilt with some fabulous colours that work so well together
When I was a child adults used to say "blue and green should never been seen, unless there's something in between " they were so wrong!
What a gorgeous quilt! Love the fabrics you have chosen. Quilting is on my bucket list and I hope to make atleast one quilt in this lifetime :)
Have a lovely day.
I really love the colours you have used. A very nice quilt.
Love the colours and your curves look perfect! Fab quilt :)
Love the blues and greens together! I was wondering what size your blocks were as I just went to my LQS and they had some 8.5 inch DP templates.
Wow this is stunning and in a weekend too - well done
Those colours look gorgeous. Beautiful quilt
Love this so much, great use of colour
Absolutely love this one. Great colors and nice variety of prints. I'm working on a Drunkard's Path this year as part of a QAL I'm hosting just to keep myself motivated to finish. They really aren't hard to do at all. It will be my new Christmas quilt. Working on my second quarter list now too.
blues and greens are my absolute favorite, and this quilt is amazing!!
