Quilting Gallery Blog Hop Giveaway

UPDATE - GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.  THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED.

Quilting Gallery Logo

So, a few weeks ago I registered my blog with Quilting Gallery.  If you haven't come across the site before, there is a Quilting Bloggers' Directory, weekly contests, regular block parties and quilt-alongs, and lots more.  This week is the website's fifth birthday and they are hosting a blog hop with giveaways.  Click on the button below to find a whole bunch more to enter if you are so inclined.

  Blog Hop Party with Give-Aways

If you have found your way here from Quilting Gallery - welcome!  Please feel free to take a look around my blog - I have been quite busy sewing the last few months and there are even a couple of tutorials if you're interested.  To regular readers - welcome back!

Here are a couple of mosaics showing my recent(ish) projects - this one is the wrap up for October:

And this one is the wrap up for November:

Onto my giveaway.  Up for grabs is a fat quarter of each of the DS Quilts fabrics pictured below.  The whole DS Quilts thing doesn't seem to have really caught on here in New Zealand, but I understand that these fabrics can be hard to come by in other countries.

To enter, all you need to do is leave a comment on this post.  I would love to know what you like to see  (or would like to see more of) on quilting blogs.  Followers (new and existing) get a second entry - just leave me a second comment letting me know that you follow.  I'm very happy to ship internationally, but you probably won't get the fabric before Christmas because parcels move a little slower at this time of year.

This giveaway is open to everyone, but if I can't contact you, you can't win!  If you are a no-reply blogger, please make sure you leave your email address in the comment.

The giveaway will stay open until around 10 am Sunday 16 December (New Zealand Daylight Savings Time), and I will use the random number generator at random.org to pick a winner then.

Good luck everyone!

UPDATE - GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED.  THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED.

I'm a new follower - nice to meet you!

I enjoy blogs that either 1) teach me something, 2) show me something 3)share something. (See how selfish I am - it's all about me, lol!) So, I guess the gist of it is, just be yourself and write about what strikes your fancy, and if others like, good. And if they don't, it's just not their cup of tea! Happy holidays to you!

I like photos of projects in the surroundings that they will be in. If the project is a table runner, have a shot of the whole room with the table runner on the table. Sometimes people take an upclose shot, which is nice too but so much nicer to see the surroundings. Thanks for the chance.
