I thought it was time for an update on my Year 30 quilt (this is the project where I'm making a block every day between by 29th birthday and my 30th birthday).
I've now made 125 blocks, but this is the first 121. I'm still loving this project, and I've got into a slightly better pattern of making blocks in themes. Now that I have more blocks, it's looking more like a real quilt, which is nice.

I really like how it is working together. It is going to be a fun quilt to look over when it is all done!
I love how bright and happy the colors are! And that you're continuing to do it! :D It's going to be amazing when you're done!
It is going so well! I especially like the holiday of orange peels, a great idea to stay on track. Can you believe you're already a third done? Time really flies!
still such an amazing project! will you seam them together in order or will you mix them up?
What a great idea! This will be such a fun quilt. I wonder if when you finish you will look at it and feel it really reflects your year, and if you did it again let's say at 40 or 50, if you would end up with a totally different feel to your quilt.
This is such a great idea! Are your blocks 4.5" finished or is that including the seam allowances? Just trying to figure a size to start on my birthday in October! Thanks!
It's looking fantastic. What memories it will bring back in years to come!
I'm 30 this year too, I wish I'd thought of doing something like this, it's wonderful.
What a neat project, I just turned 30 in December and I think this is such a wonderful selfish sewing gift for yourself :)
I'm new to your blog and just love the idea. My new year's resolution was to be creative every day and your original post on creativity (which I found today) was really inspiring. Thank you!
I have loved seeing your style evolve over the past couple of years, and this quilt just screams "you"!
This is fabulous!
So pretty, those blocks work so well together!
I am so loving your Block 30! It is a great idea to be inspired by. Do you plan your blocks in advance or go with the flow and see what enters into your head on that day?
