WIP Wednesday

Last weekend, I spent Sunday at a class organised through my guild, learning to make a hexagon ottoman.  I learned how to machine piece hexagons and put in a lapped zip.  This is the top of my ottoman (sorry for the crappy iphone picture).  I have a tiny bit of quilting to finish up, and then I'll quilt the side.

I'm using this Anna Maria Horner print for the sides - I love that mustardy yellow colour so much!  I also love the red print from Ellen Luckett Baker's Stamped collection.

This is a sneak peek of a project I've nearly finished for a tutorial later this week.  Love this fabric!

  11. great choices on the lovely hex ottoman! i really admire the red print of the "petals" and how you got them all the same direction, radiating outward. =)
