Beige but not boring

I'm working on this gender neutral baby quilt for a colleague.  The baby shower is on the 17th of February, so its a good thing I'm done making the blocks.  Now I'm just trying to decide on a layout.

What do you think?  The top one, or the bottom one?

  4. Oh, I'm going to be the odd one out and say the second one- mainly because I like the balance of the yellows in that one! Whichever you decide, it will be a pretty quilt!

  5. The top one...it seems top heavy with the darker fabrics in the second one.

  7. Hmm, I actually think that you should put the dark green in the center. Then I think I'd vote for the top one if you switched the center and the green.

  8. I'm with Amanda. The green in the middle, blueish tones in the corners and yellows in the middle of each side.
