Fresh sewing day

Normally I do a wrap up mosaic for Fresh Sewing Day, but I already did a couple for my 2012 Wrap Up, so I am going to follow Lynne's lead and post a few 2012 favourites.

My favourite quilt (even though its not quite finished yet) is this one for my brother - it has a lot of favourite fabrics, and making it increased my piecing confidence no end.

My favourite block - this little Christmas tree block I designed for my Feeling Festive table runner.  Super simple, but really effective.  You can find the tutorial here.

And my favourite quilt related anything... getting to know other people who are as crazy about quilting as I am, both online and in real life!

Happy New Year - I look forward to seeing all the lovely things you all make in 2013!

I love that triangular quilt!!! Does it have an official name? It deserves one! And also, did you use a particular tutorial?
