Giveaway Day!

UPDATE - GIVEAWAY IS NOW CLOSED - THANKS SO MUCH TO EVERYONE WHO ENTERED

I am linking up with Giveaway Day over at Sew, Mama, Sew!  Click on the button to find a whole heap of other bloggy giveaways!


This is my first ever giveaway!  Up for grabs is this very sweet charm pack of Sew Stitchy by Aneela Hoey for Moda - 42 5 inch squares of light and airy sewing-themed fabric.


If you are new to my blog, please feel free to take a look around!

I want to keep this super simple, so all you need to do to be in to win is leave a comment.  I really want to give regular readers an extra chance, so if you are a follower, leave me a second comment letting me know that for a second chance to win.

You can tell me anything you like in the comment, but to give you a start, I would love to know if you have ever been to New Zealand (kiwis, just let me know that you're reading!).

The giveaway is open until 2.00pm Saturday 8 December New Zealand Daylight Savings Time (5.00pm Friday 7 December Pacific Standard Time).  I will then use the random number generator to choose a winner and post the results shortly after.  I will ship internationally, but I can't guarantee it will arrive before Christmas - just think of it as a New Year's present!

    In 2009, my sister and I planned a trip together and at first,that's where we wanted to go (New Zeland). She was in Australia, so it wasn't that far.. in the end, we went to Thailand. It was nice, but I think I would have liked New Zeland more..

    I am from the U.S. but New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places I have ever experienced. I studied abroad there in 1999 for 5 months and spent a lot of time trying to find a way to stay! The Coromandel Peninsula, Banks Peninsula and Dunedin were some of my favorite places.

    Travelled all around the South Island, done Auckland and Tongarriro but not got to Wellington yet! Windy in Melbourne today, so Wellington might be even windier!!!

    We're not too far away, over here in Australia, so I have no excuse. My partner has been however and he LOVED IT. He did the extreme sports thing and drank a lot of wine, as far as I can ascertain.

    I went to NZ 2 years ago, my friend was getting married there, so we flew over for the wedding & toured the North of the North Island..... loved it, so totally loved it! I'm from Tasmania (Australia) and it so way, 10000times better then Tassie!

    I spent a month travelling both Islands and loved it all. Queenstown was a standout for me though. So packed with adrenalin fuelled activities. I can't wait to get back there some day, especially as I now live a hop, skip and jump away in Oz.

    I've never been to New Zealand. The closest I've been geographically is probably South Africa, and the closest I've been in spirit is watching the Lord of the Rings, which is probably nothing like New Zealand really is when not computer animation enhanced and full of mythical creatures!

    I've never been but it looks unbelievably gorgeous in movies! Except when Holly Hunter is getting her finger cut off and those nasty Orcs are marching around rotting (that's New Zealand, right?). Except for that, it looks gorgeous. :-) Thanks for the giveaway.
